I’m in the catastrophe business. When Hurricane Katrina slammed into Louisiana, 6000 businesses were hit. We knew the impact could put them into bankruptcy. Every hour they weren’t getting a response, they were losing business. I went from on one hundred transactions in a day to thousands. I was ramping up computers at warp speed and I had to bring 30 or 40 extra workers into the office. The guys from RTS flew down to Louisiana and worked with me, side by side, at my office to straighten things out! I needed a partner who could match to my commitment to my clients. RTS came through.
When I started Provencher in 2006, I considered parting ways with RTS and interviewed a lot of providers. I could have done a little better pricewise but I didn’t feel I would get same responsiveness and quality of service I get from RTS.
We’ve grown together and we have a good working relationship. I know that if I have a problem, I can reach out to Michael at any time of day or night. I don’t think I can do that with other companies. There’s a history there and with a history together there’s a lot to be gained.

When we were looking for a partner we spoke to large medium and small companies. We were looking for a number of things; Good service, quick response, reasonable price, smart people. We knew RTS fit the bill when we met them, but they still made the effort
to visit us several times. They were patient and explained the process of getting the network up and running.
If I have any issue with technology I call them, I explain what I need and they deliver. In the past, if we needed new computers, a new laptop, a new server, or even a printer, I would do the research myself for months. Now I just call and they take care of it. They take a lot of work off my hands. They charge us a fixed price, but for that price they go above and beyond.
We’re in the fine dining business and we’ve been best in class for years. Mr. Linwood expects high standards from everyone who works with him. RTS has worked for us for 11 years and they’ve never let us down. If they can work with us, they can work with anyone.
